It was an honor to co-organize, (Portuguese Saudi Business Council) together with our counterpart the Saudi-Portuguese Business Council (SPBC) led by its President Mr. Alwalid Albaltan , and with the support of Invest Saudi , the 2nd Edition of the Portuguese-Saudi Private Sector Forum.
The Forum gathered over 200 participants, including government representatives, business leaders, and institutional partners from both Portugal and Saudi Arabia. It was a unique opportunity to deepen dialogue, explore new areas of cooperation, and celebrate the growing trust between our two countries.
Agenda highlights:
- Opening session with the leadership of PSBC, SPBC and CIP.
- Presentations from Saudi institutions on investment, SMEs, trade, and economic planning.
- Portuguese case study: GEG Engineering Structures for Life.
- Signing of two major Joint Ventures between Portuguese and Saudi companies.
- Networking session with over 200 business leaders.
Beyond the agenda, the Forum was a true marketplace of ideas and opportunities. We explored how Saudi Arabia’s Vision2030 opens wide avenues in renewable energy, digital transformation, infrastructure, healthcare, tourism, and real estate. Portuguese companies shared their capacity for innovation and execution, while Saudi partners emphasized the scale of investment and market potential in the Kingdom. Together, we can turn these opportunities into sustainable partnerships for growth.
