Gulfood 2025, the world’s largest F&B event, once again confirmed its role as a global stage for innovation, sustainability, and international partnerships. During the fair in Dubai, the Portuguese–Saudi Business Council (PSBC) engaged with several leading Portuguese companies — including TRIBE, Água Monchique, Lactogal, CISTÉR, Dacsa Nata Pura, Novarroz, and SQ Portugal — encouraging them to look beyond the UAE market and explore the vast opportunities available in Saudi Arabia.
With the active leadership of Mr. Alwalid Albaltan, President of the Saudi–Portuguese Business Council (SPBC), the two councils continue to play a pivotal role in supporting companies as they expand into the Kingdom. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to driving growth and unlocking new opportunities in line with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
The event also showcased Saudi innovation to the world, with standout products such as a date-infused cola — a unique fusion of tradition and modern refreshment that embodies the Kingdom’s capacity to combine heritage with creativity.
The PSBC extends special thanks to Mr. Pedro Rodrigues, President of the Portuguese Business Council – UAE, for the kind invitation and warm reception during the fair.
Gulfood 2025 once again underscored the power of international collaboration. By working together, Portugal and Saudi Arabia are driving innovation, fostering sustainability, and strengthening business ties that will shape the future of the food and beverage sector.
