The Portuguese–Saudi Business Council (PSBC) had the honor of receiving the first official Saudi delegation to Portugal, marking an important milestone in the strengthening of bilateral relations between the two countries. The event took place at the Tagus Park Auditorium in Lisbon and brought together leading representatives from both nations.
The Saudi delegation, led by the Saudi–Portuguese Business Council (SPBC), was welcomed in a solemn session attended by the Portuguese Minister of Infrastructure, Eng. Miguel Pinto Luz, who presided over the formal signing of a cooperation protocol and the inauguration of the new Portuguese Executive Board of the PSBC.
The event was also attended by Dr. Armindo Monteiro, President of the Portuguese Business Confederation (CIP), and Dr. Luís Filipe Menezes, President of the Arab–Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIAP), along with senior executives from some of Portugal’s most prominent companies, including Delta, Mota-Engil, and Renova.
This landmark occasion created an open forum for dialogue on investment opportunities in Saudi Arabia and paved the way for future collaborations in strategic sectors such as energy, infrastructure, and industry. By bringing together institutional leaders and business representatives, the PSBC reaffirmed its commitment to fostering economic cooperation and building long-term partnerships between Portugal and Saudi Arabia.
